Stainless steel reinforcement RebarPROFI
One of our specialties is the supply of stainless steel reinforcement. We hold stainless steel reinforcement in our own warehouses for immediate delivery; for larger quantities for projects, we supply directly from manufacturers with very short delivery times. We supply reinforcement in the form of straight bars in required lengths as well as in coils.
On customer's request we can provide bent reinforcement according to the drawing documentation. The stainless steel reinforcement is bent directly at the manufacturer's site, so that contamination cannot occur, as is the case of service centres where low-alloy reinforcement is also bent. We also supply ribbed bar mashes made of stainless steel.
We supplied stainless steel reinforcement for the flyover of the motorway feeder in Ústí nad Labem, where stainless steel reinforcement was used in large quantities for the first time in the Czech Republic. We have also supplied stainless steel reinforcement for example for the reconstruction of the Main Railway Station in Prague.
The delivery program includes more than 20 stainless steel grades, most often we deliver grades 1.4301 and 1.4362.
There is a wide range of:
- bars dia. 3 - 50 mm
- coils dia. 3 - 20 mm
- ribbed bar mashes dia. 3 – 12 mm
- bent reinforcement according to drawing documentation
Advantages:
- minimal future maintenance and thus no repair costs
- frequent traffic restrictions due to repairs are not needed
- stainless steel reinforcement allows to reduce the thickness of the concrete, which significantly reduces the weight of the structure (prefabricated parts significantly reduce transport costs and the amount of concrete used)
- since the mechanical properties of stainless steel are better than those of carbon steel, smaller reinforcement diameters can be used, which significantly reduces the overall weight of the reinforcement used
- the use of smaller diameters and the reduction of the concrete cover results in lighter structure, with significant financial savings, for example in earthworks
Stainless steel is a more economical solution in the long run than carbon steel.
